Where to begin when planning a Belize Itinerary

Belize, one of the world’s last unspoiled destinations, is on a lot of people’s vacation wish lists.  And even though it’s small (the size of New Jersey), it is hard to know where to begin!  So, you won’t see everything in a single trip to Belize, but you can experience many of the highlights. With a bit of planning you can put together a plan for whatever time you have to spend in our ‘Jewel.’

It’s a great country to visit no matter how much travel experience you have, but it’s an excellent destination for someone who hasn’t done much international traveling. English is the official language of Belize, and there is so much to do no matter what you’re interested in. Of course, we think our Belize jungle village is the best spot! However, this post lists all kinds of adventures to consider.  You can use this as a jumping off point to make your perfect personalized itinerary to see Belize.

Too many activities to choose from!

We’ve packed in a ton of exciting, adventures/activities for you to choose from for your vacation in Belize.  Vacations are for relaxing and enjoying the sights. This can be a bit difficult if there’s a lot you want to do. Don’t stress out about how you’ll be spending your time.  So create a rough Belize itinerary to help you accomplish the things you want to do but leave room for adventures that you may not know you want to do!  This Blog post will help you with that task.

The majority of guests that stay at our Jungle Lodge in Belize also spend part of their vacation at a beach location.  Most guests choose one of the following beach areas; Ambergris Caye (San Pedro), Caye Caulker, Hopkins, or Placencia.  However, we have two other recommendations that are a little more Belize off the beaten path, but worth considering.  More on those later.
